Template Design
In the course assignment for Template Design, we´re asked to set up a high-fidelity templates for an online e-commerce website in the furniture industry.
We should create a product page template for the Nor Møbler website. The product page template will be used for all furniture and décor items the website sells.
Because there will be many different product pages, a template needs to be designed for consistency and saving time. This template will be one page.
We´d also design a lead capture landing page to promote and sell their products and collect some information from the customers, and a dashboard showing some relative data.
Product pages
For the product page we made a clean template, with not too much of information/text. We wanted the customer to see the head-photo and then want to read more about the product. That is also why we put in a link with ”more information”, to not make the site feel ”heavy”.
Lead capture Landing Page
In this page we only wanted to collect the customers information in an easy way, and to use for a funnel. Therefore we made the page very clean and without any further distraction, and we also used a hamburgermenu to not take space from what was important. Just a clean backgroundphoto and a form with a clear CTA-button. Clean and easy for the customer to understand.
Dashboard
For the dashboard we need to choose and design relevant graphs to showcase the information.
The dashboard should show the following data:
- Sales revenue per week.
- Sales revenue per month.
- A list of popular products.
- Average daily orders.
- Deliveries per month.
