Solar Smart
Our task
This was our Semester Project for the first semester at the UID programme. For this assignment, we should be demonstrating the practical skill and competence that we have gained and applied through the first part of the UID programme, which includes: Design Foundations, Design Styles and Design System.
For this assignment, we would be creating a style guide and design system for a company called SolarSmart.
Logotype
We started by sketching out some logos and ended up with these 3, and then we ended up with the one in the middle.
We also set up some guidelines how to use the logo.
Colorpalette
We created a colorpalette based on the logo, and set up some guidelines for dark and light themes, and typography.
Design decisions
We also set up a total guide of font, how to use font, colors for links etc and some photos to guide what kind of ”tone of voice” we wanted for the homepage.
